GETTING TO SCHOOL SAFELY

We know that it is important for students to have a plan to get to school. While some of our students will drive and park in designated stalls on our property, others will park on the streets near our school. Students are reminded to obey all signage as posted.

Other students will be walking to their new school. We encourage our students to walk with others and be aware of their surroundings, signage and traffic.

Dr. Anne Anderson High School Transportation Information

ETS will be the primary transportation carrier for our school. Student Transportation is anticipating that most of the communities within the Dr. Anne Anderson High School (DAAHS) attendance area will have Edmonton Transit (ETS) service available for the upcoming school year.

As Edmonton Transit is the preferred means of transportation for students in Grades 7-12, yellow bus service will only be available to areas that do not have access to Transit. Additional information regarding transit service at schools, including frequently asked questions about School Specials, is available here.

Resources about how to plan an ETS trip, see available stop locations, safety tips for ETS riders and On-Demand Transit service are contained in the links below;

Monthly Edmonton Transit passes will be available for purchase at DAAHS on at a cost of $60. Additional Information is available here. Exact purchasing dates are communicated on the Daily Howl and SchoolZone.
