REGISTRATION FOR 2023-24

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL
You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens between March and April each year.

If you have questions about registering for school, contact the school office.

2023-24 Program Guide and Course Planner

We welcome all future Dr. Anne Anderson High School families to view our 2023-24 Program Guide and Course Planner. We are proud to offer a diverse array of programming to support our students' education. Please use these two documents when planning which courses your student will enroll in next year.

Do you have questions about your students' registration and course planning? Please email us at anneanderson@epsb.ca to connect with one of our team members or visit our Open House Website

Grades Offered

Anne Anderson School in Heritage Valley will accommodate Grades 10, 11 and 12 for the 2022-23 school year.

Dr. Anne Anderson High School is a Level 1 school on the Growth Control Model and will have an open attendance area boundary. Students living outside the attendance area can pre-enrol if there’s space. If demand exceeds available space, students from outside the attendance area will be chosen through random selection.

Attendance Area Decision

The following neighbourhoods are in the attendance area for Dr. Anne Anderson School:

  • all Heritage Valley neighbourhoods
  • Edmonton South West and Edmonton South Central annexation areas*

* These areas are included in the attendance area for now, but as communities in the area begin to develop, this may change.

Getting To School

Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) is the preferred transportation method for high school students. However, if ETS does not meet Division standards, eligible students attending their designated school may be able to apply for yellow bus service.
